Upon outfit customization to be there in the player Robert Bowling tweeted that it is not usually that. He said that they have focused on the gameplay customization with weapon and class loadouts even though the character models are determined by the loadouts.
Bowling also added that gamers can spawn with a set weapon loadout but at the same time can also swap with the hidden weapon cache around some of the levels.
Here are those tweeted discussions:
@fourzerotwo hey been following your twitter for atleast 60 days just had a question is there gonna be an outfit custimization for your plyr
@EazyizMW2 Not visually. We focus on gameplay customization w/ weapon & class loadouts. Character models are determined by loadouts though.
@fourzerotwo will there be set classes for spec ops or will we be able to customize a weapon loadout?
@vinacent You’ll spawn with a set weapon loadout, but can swap with hidden weapon cache around some of the levels.
Recently almost all the gaming websites reported that the PC version of Modern Warfare 2 may be delayed. They cooked the story that it will not be launched on 10th of November. Well, it was all made up stories. Robert Bowling today tweeted that they are not sure of the delay. They are also as anxious as the PC players and they will let to know all the fans of MW2 soon about this.
Here is what was written of Twitter:
“I know our PC players are anxious for official word. I am as well. I will let you know as soon as I do. I promise.”
So, all PC players, no need to worry about all the not-so-correct news of different websites. Have patience for the latest update on Twitter and do keep commenting.
Come Sunday (4th of October) and we will get all new Modern Warfare 2 trailer. Robert Bowling, Community Manager, is about to embark on promotional tour of Europe. He said on his Twitter page that a whole new trailer is incoming.
This is the Tweeted message: “Just reviewed the final cut, this is the one I’ve been waiting for! All new Modern Warfare 2 trailer hits online Sunday, OCT 4th!”
Did he sound as if something new will be there online on Sunday?
This is also a prove that the game is on track for the November 10 release date. They will definitely hit the mark.
Recently Infinity Ward also said that they have not shown everything yet in the game. So, let us hope that the trailer will hold few surprises for us.
There will be no option to allow players to search multiplayer games within the same region or same country. This has been confirmed by Infinity Ward after several requests by international players in improving lag in the game.
Robert Bowling, Creative Strategist of Infinity Ward, posted on Twitter saying, “There isn’t an option to search specific regions/ countries when matchmaking, but there is improved matchmaking to auto-assist.” He writes further that the improved matchmaking system will be automatically connecting players to games that best suits for their connection.
When Robert Bowling asked whether local matchmaking in a later patch could be added, then he said that it was a possibility. He wrote, “We’ll monitor community feedback closely post launch to see if the improved matchmaking benefits international users or not.”
There was also a large thread generated in the Infinity Ward forums by a New Zealand user. He described his playing experience there in the previous series of the game against North American players.
He wrote: “You encounter an enemy, you shoot at him with enough rounds for a kill with your AK or your sniper rifle and the ‘X’ damage indicator comes up. But for some reason you die and he does not. You watch the killcam to see why you died, and apparently you didn’t even fire off a shot. You just got killed by lag.”
There will be no demo of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 before the launch on November 10. This has been confirmed Infinity Ward through their Twitter account.
On Twitter Infinity Ward writes: “No plan for a Demo before launch. The entire team is focused on polish all the way up to ship of the full game.”
May be as a fan it does not sounds good because we are eager to get a demo of it to the earliest.
Well, there is a good reason on part of Infinity Ward. They want to keep the excitement of the game till it is shipped.
If we recall, demo of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was also not released and a demo for Call of Duty: World at War was released after the launch.
