MW2 trailer seems surfaced 9/11 in imagery

October 7th, 2009

The standard videogames should be about looking forward towards evolution. Modern Warfare 2, going to prove the best RPG in the gaming industry, should open gateways of evolution into the future and close the past. But…

…unfortunately it is depicting a Washington under siege.

modernwarfare2

The trailer released on 4th October (Sunday) depicts it. The crybabies or the pot stirrers think something similar. If we cross-check few of the forums dedicated to MW2, many of them several times mentions this is not the first time Washington has been destroyed on screen. According to them this may be one of the first times a video game imagery has surfaced the 9/11.

The question: Does MW2 go too far in destruction? Is it more offensive?

The MW2 trailer which was debuted at NFL game has till now racked about 200,000 views since it was posted on YouTube and reports are also there that total pre-order of the game is over a million.

If we take a closer look then we may notice that this summer all video games based on current events are seeing something of a surge. Well, may be MW2 is a bit different than the cartoon Flash game released a year before, may be. At least Modern Warfare 2 is not trying to make the object to try to hit George W. Bush with a shoe.

Give a thought…

nothing in the trailer seems to depict 9/11 other than a terrorist attack on our country. Thats the realisticness though. In the future our country could still get hit and even in a video game hearing about that stuff interests Americans. Kind of a now its personal thing. It would be hippocritical to complain. I don’t see other countries complaining about us putting terrorist attacks in their nations on video games. Nuff said o.o

They videogame is predicting the future, and not just USA, all the world will end like that,so it’s non-offensive, it’s just the creative and non-ignorant mind of some game developers

Americans really need to swallow their fucking pride and get over themselves. It’s a fucking video game. Like Kazi said, “I don’t see other countries complaining about us putting terrorist attacks in their nations on video games.” That point couldn’t be anymore true. Last I checked, America’s in a bad spot due to the recession, so there’s bigger issues to discuss rather than what’s depicted in a video game. So for all those people speaking out about this game bringing the fight to US soil, go do YOUR country a favor and buy the game and help with the economy.

Whoever posted this shit, is a fucking idiot.

It is not offensive when America Invades Vietnam, Afghanistan, and IRAQ. But it is offensive when insurgents/ultranationalist’s have DC under control?

Now you know how it feels to be invaded!

Fuck off, and give your dumb article a fucking thought.

    Fucker.

I’m tired of hearing you europeans talking shit, you all whine and cry and talk crap about the good old USA, but it sure doesn’t stop you from going to school here does it, or living over here. you hippocrit pieces of crap.

  14. October 10th, 2009 at 01:34 | #14

Lol, please berserker, I’ve probably been living in this country longer than you’ve been alive. I probably make more money now than you will ever make. And I’m probably a cooler guy than you can even dream about since no doubt you’re just a nerd gamer. Don’t go judging Europeans so fast, I like this country as much as any American and I appreciate having the opportunity to live here, but the pride that some Americans have sickens me at times. Besides, look at your blood line, I guarantee you someone came here from another country at some point. I’ve never met someone that was “American.” Come to think of it, most of the people I know that were born in America have an average of like 3-4 nationalities. Muts lol. Oh and go visit a European country, I guarantee you won’t wanna come back here.

Don’t call him a “nerd gamer” because you ARE on this website as well!
i agree berserker judged Europeans the wrong way and he might’ve sound ignorant… just like you when you said “Americans” are too proud. You too are judging…But i have to agree Europe is beautiful!!
