MW2 being unveiled at E3

MW2 will be unveiled at the Electronic Entertainment Expo. (E3) Convention today. It will be a rare early look of the game. It seems that the Santa Monica-based studio is putting the finishing touches.

It will be like one of its seemingly impossible missions. Gamers, as an elite combat specialist, follow the task force leader Captain “Soap” MacTavish. He climb a sheer ice floe in Kazakhstan.

We will get the sound of the crunch as the ice ax and crampons penetrate the frozen cliff face. Gamers will attempt a death-defying leap a gap in a cliff ledge and at the moment when it looks as if gamers has fallen, McTavish grabs on and pulls to safety.

On the way gamers also join in Black Hawk Down-style urban fight in Rio de Janeiro. Even in infiltration of an Afghanistan cave camp and also wage underwater battles.

Its interesting. Right? All these leads to an enemy outpost where gamers are triggered with outmanned and outgunned diversionary explosions and they escape in a snowmobile chase rivaling the forest speeder-bike.

Is Modern Warefare 2 going to use the Call of Duty title? I saw on the E3 website they were calling it Call of Duty : Modern Warefare 2. Either way its gonna rock, i only play it for the online multiplayer on the PS3, im addicted!!

You know, I think after seeing the press conference on IGN.com, I change my mind about the graphics. I forgot that almost all first person shooters only look outstanding when you’re using the first person camera. For instance, when you play Halo 3 and re-watch what you did in theater mode, you can switch the camera to third person. When doing that, all of master chiefs moments look bland and very limited unlike the AI. What I’m trying to get to is that when companies make trailers they detach the camera’s and put them in places where the gamer is not meant to experience. Therefore company has no reason to improve each and every angle of the game world because unless you’re a hacker or you know glitches that can get you out of the map, you’ll never see it. Don’t get me wrong about the graphics though when it comes to the fact that they have not improved from Call of Duty 4; they’re EXACTLY the same except now the player is witnessing different environments. Also based on the demo it looks like there will be no gore which means that all the “improvements” that Treyarch made to the engine are not being put into effect in Modern Warfare 2. I guess though that the graphics “formula” works. Just like it does for the Gears of War series. When Gears 2 came out, we all saw that the graphics HARDLY improved. Yes it was more bloodier and gorier, but thats a certain part of the entire game formula. Whatever is focused on in Modern Warfare 2, will be the thing that shines when it’s released; hopefully it’s the fun factor. W/E I’ll shut up now.

Saw it on the TV. The gameplay is awesome, your main gun has a heart beat sensor on it for the snow levels. SWEET!!! FAMAS looks slim as heck when you are holding it but all guns have camo on them. IT IS AMAZING!!!
