i Have a ps3 and i havent preordered a copy of the game but all i want is the normal version so i plan on just going to eb games and getting but how long does it take to get more copies after they sell out usually??

Honestly there’s no way to tell until the game is released or 402 actually states how many of the P editions were made. I don’t see them making more for one console then another, but I do see them only selling so many to each reseller. Maybe Amazon bought more then the others and they are just now running out, I’ve had mine ordered since they announced it and they became available on Amazon.

the x box 360 version sold out two weeks before the ps3 one did here in Australia. that was 4 weeks ago. I was told by eb games that xbox360 owners were ordering prestige editions of the ps3 version just to get the extras (trade the game in on the spot for straight swapover to xbox one). Also, there are almost 3 times as many xbox 360 consoles sold in australia compared to ps3…. and apparently 3 times as many prestige editions on xbox 360 were made available here.

Who gives a rats ass about austrailia anyway, you guys never get shit right!!! but anyway how can you call x-box 360 better when the power of the console isnt there the graphics cant stand up to ps3 and blu-ray is kickin your ass… really do you guys enjoy havein to pay monthly or yearly to get online??? ps3 is free? the only reason there are even as many x-box’s out there as it is, is because they put the shit out a year earlier. and I would say they definatly sacrificed for rushing it. but anyway back to the topic… I really dont need night vision goggles though it does seem like it would be a nice collectors piece. but all I wanna do is play the game so I pre-ordered the regular edition… GO PS3!!!

i disagree that this is a victory for sony, my semi-illiterate sony fanboy (friends?). And here is why;

A. the PS3 is more expensive than the current 360 model, even with price drops. thus, 33% a higher cost, when applied to the quadratic formula, yields that the average PS3 owner has 16.5% more money than a three sixty owner. to back up this point, i would like to quote the illustriously naive idiot to comment last before me, luksta, who says, “…ps3 is the best becuz all u poor kids cant afford one so you buy your half-ass 360…” this proves that the ps3 version of MW2 prestige edition will sell at a 16.5% higher rate.

B. It is also quite possible that Activision, knowing more people in total bought the 360 version of Mw2 than the ps3 or pc, decided to make more copies in total of the xbox 360 version of the prestige edition package.

I have a PS3 and a 360 and I must say tht the ps3 has the better graphic but I do like the contoller from the 360 better but after playing both I must say that the ps3 is pretty much the winner over the 360 but it does cost more but there is a reason why it’s more expansive than the 360

Ha, victory for Sony my ass. I guarantee you they made a lot more prestige edtions for the 360 than the PS3 because the original modern warfare sold way more copies of it on 360 anyway. They’re not stupid, they’re not going to make the same amount for both. Especially when there is such a bigger audience from xbox 360 owners.

God damn, stop the fanboy bashing!!! I don’t care what you think about the other game system. I have a Xbox 360, not because I was too poor to buy a PS3, but because all my friends had one and I liked the games for Xbox better. PS3 is technically the better system, but the controller to me feels weird whenever I try to play one. It also has better graphics and Blu-ray, Microsoft lost that battle by charging an extra 100$ for a Hi Def player. The systems both have their pros and cons, some people are going to like one, some are going to like the other. Personally, I think that Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo should just work together and make one Fucking AMAZING console and leave the game developers to make quality games for EVERYONE and not have to choose which systems to release their games on. Just my 2 cents, Peace

You’re an idiot. What does the quadratic formula have to do with product price? Just because the PS3 is more expensive does not mean its owners have more purchasing power. It just as easily could have been that someone saved up to buy a more expensive console for the specific games. I have 2 360s (including 1 elite and 1 with HD player), and 1 PS3. I consider myself in upper-middle class in terms of salary. I have always been an Xbox fan since the original unit. The 360 controller is very comfortable for my hands. I am still happy with my 360’s today. However, PS3 offers features that the current 360’s cannot match. So, I am looking for a PS3 version of MW2 Prestige. Plain and simple, the PS3 has better capabilities today than the 360 has. That said, when the new 360 comes out (hopefully with Blu-Ray) I will upgrade to that too. And then I’ll purchase my new games for that console.

got prestige. it is awesome. game is awesome. hope they go for a MW3!:) maybe they can go for broke and include a BB gun with it…
