Juggernaut sucks for gamers comments readers
Yesterday we put up an article about what the gamers want in Modern Warfare 2. We have received a good number of comments and it is still flowing in. Few of the comments are really very rational and hope that it gives the Infinity Ward people a serious look before the launch of the game.
One of the serious gamer wrote, “I would really love to see attachments for my primary weapon, along with silenced sniper rifles! Juggernaut sucks when you play against it, but its still part of the game and gives and extra challenge.”
Just check what one more reader writes about the juggernaut. He writes, “I don’t even use juggernaut; I use stopping power. Although if they do get rid of juggernaut, then I think they need to get rid of stopping power also. These two perks were designed to be in the game together. People that bitch about juggernaut are just babies who need to get better at the game. I hope they don’t get rid of juggernaut and keep stopping power just because a bunch of bitches are complaining about their lack of skill.”
We welcome more such serious comments from gamers who are waiting desperately for the game to be launched on the scheduled day of 10th November.

Um the g3 does not take 3-4 shots to kill a juggernaut user on hardcore.
it takes a single headshot to kill or two shots in the high chest, never 3-4. the bottom line is, if you dont like the advantages that juggernaut and stopping power give, you should play hardcore but they should not be removed from the game.

fuck it, i use juggernuts with the P90, it rocks, its a game not real fucking life. Anybody who uses perks that i would usually use together has all the power to them. Dont bitch about it suck it up. Each perk is there for a reason and in the end it balances everything out, that guy is right about stopping and jugger balancing each other. And im one hundred percent behind that guy and juggernaut…….if you dont like it suck me!
canadian is right p90 with juggernaut is awesome. but a really good class is a sub machine gun with silencer, bomb squad, uav jammer, and dead silence…completly invisible..haha but i dont use it i have a red tiger mp5 with red dot and stopping power and steady aim and bandolier hahah

Perks aren’t 100% balanced, and they shouldn’t be.
Juggernaut has pros and cons, like everything else.
Pros:
Useful to get across gaps/doorways/etc.
You can actually get at least 2 shots of with a shotgun using it.
It gives you an extra chance against people jumping you.
Its only a tactic; use others to beat it!
Cons:
Isn’t much penalty with it (Maybe slightly slower in MW2?)
Overpowered slightly, way too much of a boost.
Damn annoying agaisnt SniperRifles that should go through tough armour.
Suggestions:
Slower run speed or turn speed when using it.
A weakness; such as high powered weapons or grenades.
Oh and @ JuggernautHater, Stopping power/mp40/steady aim is actually more OP than what you gave…
i think juggernaut ruins the call of duty game. i refuse to use it, im good enough where i dont need a perk like that to stay alive!! my friends all feel the same way as well, my suggestion is have a ranked match game type like domination without juggernaut make it a choice. you will be surpised to see how many people would play it..

SO… let’s clear some stuff up for the idiots who just hop on a blog and type JUGGERHORS FUCKING SUCK, or “if you need extra life to be good then you suck” (like you don’t use stopping power, where it’s just as easy for someone to say, if you need extra dmg you suck)…
Juggernaut, does NOT in fact increase your LIFE, it increases your ARMOR, which is 100% realistic. Many weapons are also capable of shooting a different round type, or even caliber ammo, thus changing how your bullets fly and impact, they could impact harder/do more dmg, but wont go as far accurately etc… (stopping power).
More info that appears to be lacking here…juggernaut in cod4 and waw is completely different. In cod4 it is in fact more armor against gun fire and explosives! where as, in cod waw they changed jugg to only be effective against gun fire, hence the new flack jacket perk. So IMO jugg can definitely be more useful in cod4, however before you start bitching i challenge you to log on multiplayer, strap on juggy, and see how you do! if you start slaying everyone and your overall stats jump over a 2.0 kd then ill be quiet and your right, but im confident that’s not the case.
If you don’t want either stopping power or jugg to mater, then go play hardcore, if all you do is play softcore and bitch because you can’t kill someone with juggernaut, PLZ quit playing the game, or go play hardcore.
I don’t think people ever think about these perks rationally, stopping power, you have to hit someone with less bullets, less accuracy, people die quicker = LESS SKILL. Juggernaut, you have to hit someone with more bullets, more accuracy to win a gun fight, and people don’t die as fast thus, MORE SKILL. I myself use stopping power, I am not good enough to win more gun fights with jugg, but i can certainly kill juggys with stopping power. If you don’t use either hopefully your playing hardcore, otherwise your an idiot or just like challenges lol.
in conclusion, if you really want IW to change the juggy/stopping power situation, start posting rational comments, if your opposed to the perks then give real reasons why, include substance to your argument, (this does not include juggerhors fucking suck, or people who use juggernaut are noobs, juggernaut is for little kids, juggernaut sucks! these are irrational arguements that my friends and i often run into in lobbies after some people have just gotten their asses beat)

Get rid of stopping power and jugger. It makes the game too unbalanced, even though i use mp5, clays(dont set much except search), stopping power, and steady aim.
Juggernaut isn’t a BIG problem for me, unless you are at the highest rank you can be like 10th prestige gold cross. I mean you have the most experience and your ass can’t even play a game without it. I sold my modern warfare game and I’m disappointed that I did, because I really enjoyed that game. But I picked up the world at war game quite a while back and that game is fun too. I like nazi zombies a lot. But, anyways my setup for core team deathmatch is stg-44/bandolier/stopping power/deep impact. I average over 20 kills a match and this setup is very useful on search and destroy but if you play core I would use a suppressor. If you don’t have stopping power on a bolt action it will take multiple shots to kill someone who DOESN’T have Juggernaut. So, stopping power isn’t there to take out people with Juggernaut it’s there to actually get kills..
oh thank you someone else thinks that if juggernaut is removed so should stopping power. Personally you should keep them both in however if anything make stopping power the “anti-christ” to juggernaut. However doing this, will also make a big disadvantage to people who have neither juggernaut or stopping power. Perks like jug and stopping power should be limited to people with lower exp. Make people with high exp use perks that don’t increase power or health if you want balance between all players

Oh and Stopping Power; I dont use it because to be honest, it only kills people quicker if they are behind a wall that you can shoot through. And how often do you shoot through a wall?

I’m glad jugg is out of MW2. I sometimes used it on COD4 but only because most people used stopping power. I would’ve liked to use a silenced weapon with UAV jammer but then juggernauts really do become a challenge. I just think that if jugg is gone, SP should be gone too. The only defence against SP now is the riot shield, and that just destroys your KDR and is only useful during objective games when team mates bother to watch your back. Slightly off topic; I think you should be able to use a weapon with the riot shield, only balance it by making the hip fire accuracy shockingly bad. And a 2 hit melee kill is crap when the enemy can somehow press R3 and magically slash you dead in one hit when on your screen they were stood directly on the other side of the shield. While i’m at it… riot shields can deflect bullets that can then kill? Well i’ve almost completed the riot shield challenges and that has yet to happen for me. And when the riot shield is on your back and supposed to protect you from behind, well it only seems to protect the left side of your upper body, hardly protective when the enemy only has to aim slightly to the right of the guy running away with the flag.
