Gold membership necessary to play MW2 on Xbox Live
There were many interesting comments on the previous article about the questions of fans answered by the Editor of Modern Warfare 2. One of the comments also asked for more questions that were answered. Here are few of them.
One of the readers of Game Informer asked that will Infinity Ward make playing multiplayer free. He said that he have an Xbox 360 and he is yet to get a Gold membership. To this the Editor replied that Gold membership is necessary to play over Xbox Live as it is with other games. He added that Infinity Ward has always denied the rumors that there will be additional fees to play Modern Warfare 2.
One more interesting question was that will the dismemberment be similar to Call of duty World at War or not. The reply came that similar level of violence is expected to what is present in Infinity Ward’s last game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Somebody even asked whether the Modern Warfare 2 campaign be played with two players. It is not. It is only a single-player game was the reply.

Why would you post such a stupid question about playing MW2 free on xbox live. Everyone knows that it isn’t free to play games on xbox live. It IS worth it though and it kicks the crap out of the online game play for the PS3.

mw2 rocks here r some ideas)a new game mode called modern zombie fare were u use multiplayer maps instead of stupid ass houses were its easy to die )i hope the special forces mode is sweet )a co-op online system were u play on the same tv and system wit 2 players)multiplayer vehicle use u know just use the the weapons of abanded vehicles)tank survival mode were three man crews try to destroy other players wit tanks )death race were u race downhill with snowmobiles and kill other players)way more weapons,more support vehicles,1st person cover system like killzone2 i mean come every body takes cover dumbshits)more melee kills sneak kills like slitting some1s throat throwing knifes a little more realistic like more gore when u hit some1 with an rpg come i mean if u get hit that ur blown to peaces,a cool soundtrack,land mines,play as the marines i mean that obviously some kind of u.s.a. special operative on the cover

There is no difference in ps3 online and xbox live except ps3 has much better games and its FREE!!!. So put that in ur pipe and smoke it

Theres no halo on ps3 and now metal gear solid is coming to xbox. And no one say shit about halo there just jealos because either they suck ass at it or there mad because its only on xbox not the fucking ps3.
ok, ou have to pay for xbox live but its way better. psn is so stupid. xbox its way better and i hate the controls for ps3. xbox is better way more competitive.
