Close competition between Halo and MW2
Gamasutra reveals that Halo 3: ODST as of now is the most anticipated Xbox 360 game. This is followed very closely by Modern Warfare 2. If we closely cross check the data, it is learned that ODST is in fact the game with the highest “intent to purchase.” Modern Warfare 2 has the highest pre-order intent according to the research report.
It is not a surprise that Halo is a monster franchise, a franchise that is very co-op friendly. Despite 4 of the Halo games i.e. 1,2, 3 and Halo Wars gamers have an insatiable appetite to kick.
It is reflected that for somewhat more dedicated audience the figure represents the proportion of planned purchasers who say they will put advance money down.
If Infinitiy Ward adds a true 4 player co-op mode then gamers will be putting money down as well.
After Halo 3: ODST and MW2 there is in the race Madden NFL ’10 with 15% expressing intent on purchasing if compared with close to 25% of Microsoft gamers planning an ODST or MW2 purchase.

Call Of Duty is the greatest game ever invented, Halo sucks compared to COD. GO INFINITY WARD!!!…..P.S. If infinity ward could make COD have a multiplayer online mode that would be great.

I love both the franchises! Halo is awesome but unrealistic, Call of Duty is alot more realistic… I play both equally, one for my nerd days and one for my time to shine!

Halo CE, Halo 2, and Halo 3 are, in my oppinion, better than Call of Duty 4 Moder Warfare. And I also think that Halo 3: ODST will be better than Modern Warfare 2. Don’t get me wrong, I really like CoD games, but the Halo games just keep me hooked longer. Also, Spartan, Call of Duty is NOT any more realistic than Halo. If you want realism, check out Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising. It’s AMAZING looking.
I am sick and tired of all you people say, for example, “Halo sucks compared to Call of Duty!” That is YOUR oppinion! Say that Halo sucks in YOUR OPPINION! Don’t just say Halo sucks, because a LOT of people (like me) love the Halo games.
Call of duty 4 and Halo 3 was a bit of a competition, but MW2 and Halo 3? uh, its not a challange. MW2 Easily wins
