It’s really not much of a trailer, basically it’s a glorified MP3 clip, but I guess at this point we will take whatever we can get. Don’t get yourself too excited but if you wanna take a look…or listen, do it here.

Also, as previously called out on both this site and cod6.org, the release date is indeed 11.10.09, I’ll be taking a week off or so from work that week BTW. I still wish they had given us a bit more, if you pause the video at the correct times you can sort of make out some pictures but it leaves the viewer a bit hungry for more which is probably their exact intentions ;o

I’m sure most of you that have been following the upcoming release of Modern Warfare 2 saw the recent hoopla about some of the details being leaked. It’s looking more and more like some kid just made it all up. We can’t say for sure that it’s 100% BS though because in Infinity Wards denial of the “leaked info” they didn’t say it was ALL fake, but they said “we can’t comment on what is and isn’t real information”, So apparently some of it is indeed real but the question is, how much of it? And if some of it is real, where did this kid get it? Did he just make stuff up and got lucky with a few of his dreams?

Eh, who knows.

I recently got a comment either here, or maybe it was at cod6.org, and the person was basically saying they should make a perk on Modern Warfare 2 that allows a player to “play dead”.  Now before I go on let me just say I don’t think IW will never make this happen for various reasons. That being said, out of all the ideas for perks that I’ve heard for Modern Warfare 2 that  IW will never implement, this “playing dead” is my second favorite after the “monkey” perk which would allow players to climb trees. Both the “monkey” perk and the playing dead perk are ideas that the community came up with. I actually saw people talking about the playing dead perk while WaW was in development.

I always look at things on how they would effect S&D games because that’s basically the only game mode I play. I think a play dead perk would actually be pretty awesome for S&D. Think about if you were the last player alive on your team and you go to the bomb and play dead with the other dead bodies, when they come to plant or difuse, BAM.

So how do you feel about this perk? How about the tree climbing perk, that would come in really handy for snipers.

Also, before I end this post, I’d love to see more destructable parts of the map like they have in Battlefield Bad Company only minus the tanks. Let’s say you call and air strike on some little house, I feel like the house shouldn’t be able to withstand 3 bombs being dropped on it…it’s just not realistic.
