3 screenshots of Modern Warfare 2

The first full-length trailer of Modern Warfare 2 has been already launched. The previous post here has the video of it. There are mixed reactions among our regular readers and of course the fans of MW2. Few says it is awesome where as other says they expected better than this. One of our readers also commented that the explosions, the fire effects and the character models look fake.
Ah! That’s the reactions only with a two minutes video. Anyways, here are three screenshots that were unveiled to the public.
Let me wrap up about the game. It seems that the game has a very interesting plot. Its actions happen all over the globe. The game will be released on November 10 this year and it is available for pre-order now.

The graphics between Mw2 and WAW is that MW2 looks more ‘cleaner’ compaired to WAW, So does MW1. Judging how the game looks its looks very awesome
i love the fact that there is going to be civilians in this game:D But at the same time I want the game to be simple and not as “complicated” like WAW. It’s like Eye of Rinnegan says it looks cleaner and not to much S**T in the maps:P

I loved Call of duty 3,4 and 5. So im guna pre-order this, or the special edition if their is one. Looks like so much fun. Thank-you for making Call of Duty.
of course some of the graphics look bootleg but theres plenty of time to polish these up for the release

WaW SUCKS BALLS
Maybe I was a little too harsh on the graphics, but let me explain. In my opinion the explosions, which goes along with the fire effects, look fake because they are discolored and somewhat too light. You can also see the circles of fire, like they’re a repeated pattern, and when something explodes there is no smoke. I compare that to World at War because on the Black Cats mission, when kamikazi (sp?) planes flew into the ships, those looked like real explosions. Smoke, huge amounts of sparks that loom in the air for a while, and multiple shades of yellow, red, and orange contribute towards this factor of realism. Also the only reason why I say the character models look fake is because their skin is shiny. Also at times during the trailer, the enemies or allies looked liked they were smiling; okay, but I don’t think you would be smiling if you were getting shot! All in all they kind of look like the character models found in Far Cry 2 which has gotton alot of criticism. I was just hoping that they would improve the graphics, BUT I understand why they wouldn’t. COD4 was praised for it’s good graphics and Infinity Ward probably saw no need to improve them because of this. Everything that I’ve complained about is exactly how it is in COD4, but it’s hard to see that because most of the game takes place in a desert like atmosphere and there were no civilian characters that would show the shiny skin. I guess it’s better to make a game more fun first before looking to improve the graphics. To finish things up, King Spaceghost, they took my words word for word

it’s a work in progress so I’ll be reserving judgement until I get my hands on it!!!!!! I can’t wait, I’m drooling like a maniacal lunatic!!!!

I think that people should really think about this game. It is the sequel of the most played First Person Shooter of 2007! It’s probably the best FPS out there now. Do you think Infinity Ward would let any of us down? NO. The trailer is amazing, the graphics are just as good if not better than CoD:4’s, and just think what they will show us in less than a week at E3 2009. There is plenty of time for IW to make improvements to it in the next 5 months.

I agree, everyone is saying that, i thinking 1st they accually make the game from single player then multi + and so on. THEN they inprove the graphics. in other words, finish 1st, then improve.
They better have Capt. MacMillian in a mission or 2…or 3
they wont have MacMillan; Price died, and soap never knew him (in that mission we were playing as Price like 10 years ago) i wish we could be him too

Though it APPEARS Price died, how COOL would it be if they showed him injured, but brought him back like torwards the end and fought alongside him. That would be AMAZING..
well no shit its gonna look cleaner, mw2 isnt taking place in such war raveged areas as waw. i loved the way waw look, which in my opinion was real@MY xbox IS dead

Yeah there is a collectors edition if that’s what you’re asking. The graphics will be fixed, don’t worry about that.
